Recently social media has been buzzing with the news that Achina Ghattah removed Crispy Malawi’s Verse on his recent single “Ndikapeza” that features Malawian South Africa based singer, rapper and award winning record producer Gemini Major.
The beef has been ongoing between the two as their fans are forced to pick sides. Despite there prolonged silence on the matter, it is still unaddressed. Spe’s Verse was suddenly removed from this single. To those who listened to the original version are blaming Ghattah for being selfish.
Adding salt to the wound, Ghattah suddenly reappear with a Jab to the other camp. Where he went on Audiomack a took a screenshot of his song as number 1 topping charts, and it is followed by Crispy’s songs that indicates dropping of the ladder. It is currently still unclear if indeed “Ndikapeza” is achieving the success it is being decorated for. Since Spe’s fans recently took a Spotify screenshot where they pointed out that, despite putting in Gemini Major on “Ndikapeza” and removing Spe.
The single has failed to achieve it’s perceived success on Spotify. Which is probably the most trusted streaming platform where true sucesss of artists is not only measured in numbers but also translates into money.
