It’s now all smiles as Malawi’s social media celebrities Hannah Jabesi and Chawezi Banda settle their scores. The two who are known on social media as Tamia Ja and Cha Cha respectively have been at loggerheads to an extent. The disputes escalated into a legal battle of defamation between the two.
The “enmity” between Tamia Ja and Cha Cha stems from a legal dispute where Cha Cha sued Tamia Ja for defamation. Cha Cha, filed for an injunction to stop Tamia Ja, from posting what Cha Cha claims are defamatory materials on social media. Cha Cha also requested that Tamia Ja remove existing content and has stated that the alleged defamation is harming her reputation as a philanthropist and businesswoman.
The war went on since the courts could not come to a resolution and a verbal war stormed social media. Where the two were throwing shades at each other. There are fans also have been rivals in the comment section ever since.
For now, it’s all smiles from both sides as the two have released a pose on social media sharing a table. This comes as the American based Malawian woman Cha Cha is now in the country for a holiday.
