A devastating collision between a fuel tanker and a bus traveling from Blantyre, Malawi, to South Africa has resulted in the tragic loss of five lives and the complete destruction of passenger belongings and transported cargo. The bus, known as Panama, had suffered a mechanical breakdown shortly after crossing the Beitbridge border and was parked on the side of the road when the fuel tanker truck collided with it, sparkling fire.

The impact of the collision ignited a fierce fire that swiftly spread through the bus, leaving little time for escape. The fire consumed the personal possessions and valuable cargo that the passengers were carrying, adding to the distress and hardship caused by the accident. Tragically, five individuals lost their lives at the scene, leaving behind grieving families and communities in mourning.
