The newly elected Vice President of Malawi Justice Dr. Jane Ansah has reported for duties. A few hours ago the Vice President posted on X formally Twitter. Where she was notified the general public that she has now began her duties as the VP of Malawi.
Ansah reported for her first day of duty at her office in Capital Hill on October 13, 2025. Her official start in office follows her swearing-in ceremony on Saturday, October 4, 2025, alongside President-elect Arthur Peter Mutharika.
Through her X page Ansah has expressed her commitment to putting worlds into action. This opposes the past leadership that was well defined with too much worlds and less action.
“Today marks my first day in office as Vice President.
I step into this role with faith, humility, and a firm resolve to turn vision into action for the good of our people”. Lead Ansah’s post on x.
This comes as a sigh of relief, considering the problems that Malawi is facing. These includes Forex shortages, food shortages and many others.
The Muntharika Government has been elected in the just ended tripartite elections. Where most Malawians have planted their hope into this administration as they believe the Chakwera led government failed.
