George Kasaula, the Director General (DG) of Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) has asked the State President of Malawi, Professor Arthur Peter Muthalika (APM) to Forgive him. This follows the recent mocks that George Kasaula made towards Arthur Peter Muthalika during 2025 General Elections campaign.
The Director General has said this in morning hours today on MBC TV where he was presenting Live.
” A lot of Malawians over millions have voted for APM, so he needs our respect and loyalty that’s why I have come here” Kasaula said.
He also added that, he extends his apologies to the wife and the family of Professor Arthur Peter Muthalika. On top of that, all members of Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), were apologized too.
In conversation with Danken Kolope, one of the concerned citizen, he emphasized on how important is it, if Government servants and officials can work together rather than pointing finger on one another.
He also noted that, Malawi needs citizens that can work collaboratively without issues of hate, jealous, and political affiliation for economic growth of this country.
” if we are to fix the economy of Malawi, Unity and accountability will work” Kolope said.
