Gwamba is actually making enough money before the actual event he has planned this year. Malawian most influential Hip Hop Gospel Hip Hop artist Gwamba is still making big money in an industry where many talented rappers are frustrated. His biggest show this year “The Best of Gwamba Concert” has managed to pull in more cash before the actual event. The artist has made over 35 Million Kwacha through event sponsorships alone. Companies are still jumping in, making sure that the event is a success on its own.
Recently Sky Energy, an electric vehicle trader and solar company, sponsoring Gwamba’s Lilongwe concert for September 21 this year with K20 million. In return the show is supposed to accord a chance to the company to showcase its innovations in renewable energy.
Sky Energy Head of Operations, Kondwani Tchereni, says the partnership is a significant step in their mission to create awareness about renewable energy and environmental conservation.
“By harnessing the power of music and entertainment, we hope to inspire individuals to take action towards a greener, more sustainable world.” Sayed Tchereni speaking to MBC
Gwamba in response said he is grateful for the sponsorship, adding that it is a motivation on his passion about renewable energy.
“Together, through the power of music and the commitment to sustainability, we can
inspire positive change and a brighter future for Malawi and beyond. Thank you for believing in my music and this important cause,” he said upon receiving the sponsorship.
As this is not enough the artist has also managed to experience some more cash looping in through other donors and corporates partners. Recently the artist announced selling 6 VVIP tickets at 1.6 Million. As this is not enough another company has jumped in to sponsor the event with a whooping sum of 8 Million Malawi Kwacha. Â EKHAYA LUXURY RESORT. has supported “The Best of Gwamba concert” with 8 Million Kwacha!
In his statement Gwamba says This will help a lot as they prepare to give Malawians a great show!!! A Complete calculation that The Concert has generated so far before actual showcase is mounting to over 35 Million Malawi Kwacha and counting. Still Making Gwamba the most paid Malawian Rapper.
