Malawian Veteran Singer and songwriter Dan Lu has threatened that he might stop music as Malawians are busy with bubble gum music instead of pushing his recent released album. He recently posted on his Facebook page, probably fed-up with the lack of support. The artist has been in the limelight for over 20 years now and he is surprised as his recent album never created a buzz as he expected.
Dan cries putting up with a thought that maybe it’s time for him to stop music. The artist has said this considering the fact that fans are not giving much attention to his recent released album, “back to my roots”.
Dan dropped the album this month which has 10 singles all together. “Back To My Roots album” was produced by Malawian producers. Namely Dj Megi, tricky Beats, Steve Spesho, Zephy, Stevelex Brian Samba and Imk Africa. At the same time he has featured some notable big musicians from Malawi and Zambia. Among those are Namadingo, Driemo and Zambia’s Chile One. The Album has 10 songs all together, even though it is really important to note that this is Dan’s most celebrated 2024 release as nothing he put out has gained any relevance.
