The 7th edition of the Kwacha Music Awards has officially announced its nominees, showcasing the best of Zambian music. The prestigious awards ceremony is set to take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka.
The Kwacha Music aims to inspire Zambian
artists to grow and improve through distinguished awards, competitions, and recognition.
This year’s nominees were selected based on radio airplay across 45 radio stations nationwide, ensuring that fan-favorite songs and artists receive the recognition they deserve.
The nominees for the Best Male Artist category include Chef 187, Chester, Chile One, Dizmo, Jae Cash, Roberto, and Yo Maps. The Best Female Artist category features Christine Nkole, Cleo Ice Queen, Mampi and Towela Kaira.

The Song of the year category is highly competitive, with nominees including “Bestie” by Roberto, “Cheers To The Good Times” by Vincenzo ft Mic Burner, “Eondongana Nankwe” by Chester, and more. These songs have dominated the airwaves, and fans are eager to see which one will take home the top prize.
The Best Collaboration category features some exciting nominees, including “Cheers To The Good Times” by Vinchenzo ft Bobby East, “follow” by Triple M ft Driemo, and more. These collaborations have produced some of the year’s biggest hits.
