Malawi’s most followed rapper on Facebook, Waxy Kay who has just lost his father recently, has announced a candle lighting ceremony in memory of his father, Bishop C.W Kapenga. The ceremony is supposed to commence at 5PM in Machinjiri Blantyre.
Waxy put his father as a hero and a man to be remembered in Malawi. And urges all interested parties and fans to join him on this day. According to the rapper, singer and songwriter Waxy Kay. The ceremony will have him leading the masses in worship songs. He further puts this day as marking the day Bishop Kapenga left the Earth and honoring his legacy on the planet.
Bishop Kapenga passed away on June 30 after a short illness that claimed his life. Meanwhile condolences are coming in from different sectors of the Malawi music circles. As we put the Kapenga family in prayer through this difficult time.
