Nigerian skit maker, Brain Jotter has once again imaged in the limelight as he exposed a song by 91 year old singer “Mike Ajeagha” Gwo Gwo Gwo Gwo that is currently making rounds on social media.

This current big trend has kept the buzz for the past week with some asking the Ajeagha family to sue Brainjotter for using the song without consent.

In a quick turn of events, Brainjotter has been praised as he announced that the money raised through this song has been donated to Sir Mike Ajeagha. He said this upon visiting his home yesterday.

In his statement Jotter explained that this story has made him understand that anything can happen in this life at any time and there is no template to lifetime. He said

“And for those of you who thought we ripped him or tried to make money out of his content, I understand your consent, it is very funny that I understand the fact that you want him to get his value which is valid. But I want you to understand that, no dime was made out of this song for myself, I understand because you don’t understand how it works, the whole revenue is going to Mike Ajeagha’s record label. You can not monetize any other person’s song because these platforms have copyright policies.”

He further explained responding to those who accused him.

“Another positive thing is, the song has increased in streaming platforms massively and there is no how I can put this song on streaming platforms and everything, all revenues are going straight to Mike Ajeagha. And the 2 million Naira I gave him was from my pocket. My had earned money it’s just for humanity and it’s not for profit, this whole thing is not for profit………” ~ Brainjotter said in his recent social media video after visiting Mike Ajeagha at his home.

After all Jotter said he never planned the whole video, it only came out as a freestyle as he was scrolling through TikTok and he remembered it as his father used to love the song.
