Malawi continues to register an increase in death of top figures, celebrities and musicians. Recently the country lost almost 9 government top official in a plane crush, that even claimed life of the Vice President Saulos Klaus Chilima.
As the 21 days mourning period is still being observed, the country has also lost Veteran singer Lucius Chiko Banda, father and founder of the Zembani Band.
His death comes after along battle with diabetes that saw him surviving a number of operations.
Lucius Chiccio Banda was born on 17 August 1970 in Balaka district, Malawi. He is also known as a politician who has served in UDF and UTM political parties. Until his demise “Banda” was serving as presidential advisor on arts. He has also served as Member of Parliament in Balaka district.
