Reports from DW news says The United States is terminating the legal status of hundreds of thousands of immigrants, giving them weeks to leave the country.
President Donald Trump has pledged to carry out the largest deportation campaign in US history and curb immigration. Over 500,000 immigrants will lose their legal protection 30 days after the Department of Homeland Security’s order is published in the Federal Register, which is scheduled for Tuesday.
These people people came to the US under a program that allowed them to stay for a short time, the government also says that the program that brought these people to the United States was meant to be temporary.
